Some say that somewhere out there, there’s a person meant just for you: a soul who fits so seamlessly into your life that meeting them feels less like an introduction and more like returning home.

It’s a romantic idea, isn’t it? But what if you never cross paths with this person? Or what if you do, and the connection isn’t what you hoped for?

Maybe your character believes in fate, or maybe they think the idea of soulmates takes away from the magic of choosing to love someone. Or perhaps they’ve met someone who makes the answer less clear than they expected.

Do they believe in soulmates at all? And if they do, have they already found theirs…or are they still searching?

HOW TO PLAY

Love is one of those things people are supposed to recognize when it happens. Unfortunately, your character may have discovered that identifying it isn't always quite so straightforward.

They might have been absolutely certain once, only to reconsider years later. They may have loved someone for a long time without ever finding the courage to say so. Some people have never experienced anything they'd comfortably call love, despite what others might think of their relationships.

Looking back on their life, does your character believe they've ever truly been in love? How do they know?
